Tracee Ellis Ross just really likes pink, you guys. The Black-ish actress rolled out the red carpet ahead of her hosting duties for tonight’s American Music Awards ceremony wearing a hot-pink, printed pantsuit designed by Selam Fessahaye, a 34-year-old black designer from Amsterdam. Ross mentioned in a red carpet interview on Tuesday afternoon that she plans on spending the night wearing fashions from black designers, and her look from the day’s rehearsal is just a glimpse of what’s to come. The bold suit, printed with hieroglyphs, is similar in hue to the striking Valentino gown that she wore to last month’s Emmy Awards, though it’s obviously a large departure in style. The actress completed the look with a pair of magenta suede Louboutin pumps with multicolored studs.
Later on, the star did an outfit switchup, changing into yet another pink pantsuit. While walking the AMAs red carpet, Tracee wore a blush-pink outfit from fashion label Pyer Moss, which was founded by designer Kerby Jean-Raymond. She paired her pastel-colored separates with Christian Louboutin pumps, dangling earrings, and a sparkly choker-style necklace.
